The club meets weekly with a standardized agenda that includes a meeting leader, formal speeches, impromptu practice, and evaluations for all. These assignments rotate every week and is managed by the club’s Educational Vice President.

This is the place to conquer your fears of public speaking (why most people join). We also practice impromptu speaking where one key application is a job interview as well as meeting management (anytime 2 or more people gather for a purpose). To ensure progress, all aspects of the meeting are evaluated, thus providing feedback to the participants and enhancing the evaluators listening skills.

 Meetings: 
Meetings are on Mondays, 11:30-12:30 (bring your lunch if you like), generally in A3/2226. You are welcome to visit any time, as often as you like.

 

 Dues: 
Yearly dues are dominated by Toastmaster International Dues to which the club adds a $3 club charge for Aerospace personnel and $4 for all others. TMI dues are currently $45/6 months.

  • In addition to our weekly meetings, we have 4 contests, two in February and two in August, and the first Monday of December we have a holiday party. Our club belongs to an area, division and district that all have events as well both contests and learning events.
