In consideration of being allowed, by the Aerospace Employees
Association, to participate in the AEA Golf Club Tournaments and
related activities, I, named above, acknowledge and agree that:
- VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION: I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME
ALL RISKS, BOTH KNOWN AND UNKNOWN, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED
TO THE NEGLIGENT OR NONNEGLIGENT ACTIVITIES OF OTHERS AND ASSUME
FULL RESPONSIBILITY OF MY PARTICIPATION IN THE AEA GOLF CLUB
TOURNAMENTS AND ACTIVITIES; AND THAT,
- Assumption of Risk: Playing golf is a form of physical
activity and that the risk of injury exists. While there are
particular skills, rules, equipment, and personal discipline
that may reduce this risk, the risk of serious injury still
exists; I hereby agree to accept any and all risks of injury
or death. I also understand that alcohol may be available at
the golf courses where the Club plays, or in resorts and hotels
where members may stay while attending events. I take full and
complete responsibility for my own actions and potential alcohol
consumption; and that,
- Release from Liability: I, for myself and on behalf
of my heirs, assignees, distributes, guardians, and legal representatives,
hereby agree not make a claim against, sue, or attach the property
of the Aerospace Employees' Association, the AEA Golf Club,
Corporate and/or Government sponsors, nor any of their officers,
officials, agents, employees, and/or other participants on account
of injury or damage resulting from the negligence or other acts,
howsoever caused, as a result of my participation in the AEA
Golf Club. I hereby release the aforementioned from all actions,
claims, or demands that may now exist or may hereafter exist
for injury or damage resulting from my participation in the
AEA Golf Club events.
- Knowing and Voluntary Execution: I, THE UNDERSIGNED,
HAVE CAREFULLY READ THIS RELEASE AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENTS.I
AM AWARE THAT THIS IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND A CONTRACT
BETWEEN THE AEROSPACE EMPLOYEES' ASSOCIATION AND ME AND SIGN
IT OF MY OWN FREE WILL.
