AEA Investment Club Home Page

The AEA Investment Club's purpose is to provide educational information to help our members better plan their investments and financial affairs. Its scope includes all forms of investments - stocks, bonds, mutual funds, partnerships, real estate, etc. - as well as related topics such as financial planning and taxes. Club dues support purchase of investment periodicals, books, and software for our club library with a typical annual value of $2000.

The AEA Investment Club sponsors guest speakers Tuesdays at 11:30. The meetings are open to all Aerospace and LAAFB employees at no charge. Members receive the following additional benefits:

  • Access to the AEA Investment Club Library
  • Overnight checkout privileges for periodicals
  • Mail receipt of meeting schedules
  • Opportunity to receive reimbursement (usually 1/2 cost for periodicals and 2/3 cost for books and software) for investment information purchased and placed in the library
Dues are $10 per year for Aerospace employees and $12 for LAAFB employees. Download a membership form or contact any of the following club board members for more information or a hard copy membership form.
  • Larry Sidor (President) 336-1571
  • Joe Barger (Treasurer) 336-1025

A tremendous amount of investment information can be found on the internet. The Aerospace VA/AP Mutual fund companies: Fidelity, T. Rowe Price, and Scudder all have home pages. Fundlink is an alphabetical list of all mutual fund families that have a home page. Another popular site is CNNfn, the new financial network from CNN. A good site for quotes is The Yahoo Quote Server or you can check out the latest calculation of the U.S. national debt

Remember government and Aerospace computers are for
official business only

The Aerospace Employees Association (AEA) Investment Club sponsors employee educational seminars and information at no charge. Neither The Aerospace Corp nor the Investment Club endorses any individuals, organizations, services, or products.
