Daily Check In Net

Daily Emergency Preparedness (EP) check-ins occur Monday through Friday at 8:00 AM Pacific Time, on the WB6VMV repeater [ 445.240(-) PL 88.5]. NOTE: You can also check in to this net via Echo Link. Search for and connect to the WB6MAX-R node which is usually on the same frequency as the WB6VMV repeater. The list of operators checking in is forwarded to our Emergency Preparedness coordinator and Security. In the event of an emergency the Security and Safety personnel will know immediately which amateur radio operators are available. If you want to run the net, we have a particular script that we use.

Monthly HF Net

On the first Wednesday of the month, we have an HF Net among the various Aerospace locations. We start with a Teams meeting, and search for a frequency that we have successful communication with. If you are an Aerospace employee or associated with Aerospace and have HF capability and would like to get an invite to the net, email Kirk Crawford.

CERT Events

The club participates in the CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) events put on by the security and safety department providing communication and practicing with the EOC (Emergency Operations Center) Trailer.
