April 27, 2006 AEA Amateur Radio Club Meeting Minutes

The monthly club meeting was called to order on 4/27/06 at 1130 hours by Bill Wysock-N6UXW. We met in bldg. A-1/1082. Five members were in attendance including our Director, Frank Voit-K3FV and our Treasurer, Steve Craig-KD6OVZ.

Steve reported that we currently have $7,041 in our Credit Union account. A discussion on how best to distribute these funds for our club resulted in a resolution as follows:

• We will spend $2,000.00 for a new Stepp-IR 3 element yagi antenna, rotator and tower structure, for the A-2 Ham Shack.
• $2,000.00 will be allocated for the D-8 ham shack as per the e-mail request from Joe Barger-N6KK dated 4/23/06.
• $1,000.00 will be retained in our Credit Union account for the balance of this fiscal year, to cover club expenses and the upcoming Christmas banquet and door prizes.
• $2,000.00 is reserved for our East Coast Club members in Chantilly, and will be distributed to them as receipts for reimbursement are received from their director, Michael Kramer-KB4TRV.

The meeting was adjourned at 1230 hours.
