February 22, 2007 AEA Amateur Radio Club Meeting Minutes

The club meeting was held in building A-3 dining room A at 11:30 hours. A total of two (2!) members were present which included President Frank Voit-K3FV, and Secretary Kirk Crawford-KG6MTE.

Keith Olsen came as well. He is looking into HAM radio and is almost ready to take his test. Since it was just us, we discussed various radios that Keith could look into purchasing. The Kenwood TH-F6A was suggested as the best HT to get. Frank also shared how he got into HAM radio. It was a good discussion. I am sorry more members were not there. Frank also mentioned that all the meetings for the rest of the year have been scheduled in either dining room A or B. Except the Christmas party of course.

The meeting was adjourned at 12:30.
